The next quarterly update of the Sage Intacct platform is due to be released on 18 August 2023. Check out the details below on what new features are being introduced 2023 Release 3:
You can now manage supplier approval directly within Sage Intacct – ensuring the correctness of the vendor records before the information is used in Accounts Payable and Purchasing transactions.
Intacct now makes it easier for you to take control of outgoing payments to ensure your organisation pays the proper amount for what you have ordered. The platform’s new match tolerances automatically compare the quantities and unit prices that appear on Purchasing transactions.
Through this feature, organisations can reduce the risk of fraud and financial loss by preventing the reimbursement of unauthorised purchases. The feature will also help to identify frequent mistakes on receipts and vendor invoices that can indicate a broader organisational issue.
You can now track payments more easily with Intacct introducing document sequencing for Accounts Receivable payments. This allows users to refer to specific posted payments – and assists with payment tracking and reconciliation.
Employee expense reimbursements can now be paid using bank files in Intacct’s Time and Expenses window. This further helps organisations to streamline the expense reporting, approval and reimbursement process.
For multi-currency companies, you can now apply payments for individual invoices directly from the Invoices list. Using the “Apply Payment” link from this list, a Receive Payment page opens and prompts you for payment information, such as payment method and amount.
With R3, Sage’s SaaS Intelligence is now available in the Australian region. SaaS Intelligence is a fully-automated metrics tracking mechanism built directly on the Sage Intacct platform and includes reports and visualisations that provide contextual data about what is occurring in your customer base.
As part of Sage’s Early Adopter program, a new workflow is available to help increase speed and flexibility for Accounts Receivable and Cash Management users. The workflow allows you to easily and quickly assign customers to bank transactions and then receive multiple payments for multiple customers – all from the one Bank Transaction page.
Another addition to Sage’s Early Adopter program is support for single payments for multiple customers. This is a useful feature when you receive a single payment but need to apply the payment to invoices from different customers.
As with previous Intacct Releases, some of these improvements will lead to changes in configurations and permissions, so be sure to speak to your Account Manager about enabling them.
