The final quarterly update for the Sage Intacct platform is due to be released on the 10th of November 2023. Check out below for the details on the new features being introduced in 2023 Release 4.
Upon opening Sage Intacct Release 4, you will notice the new look featuring bold colours for buttons, menus and tabs to reflect the Sage branding, while also incorporating a new link style that stands out clearly.
This new feature will allow users to apply a single payment from one customer against multiple different customers. Once setup, the option will appear in the Receive Payments page.
Sage Intacct will now support the ability to amend AP invoices submitted to the approval queue with the new recall function, which is available in both the AP invoice list and AP invoice detail view. This will remove the AP invoice from the approval queue and return it to a draft state, which is then able to be updated and resubmitted.
Fulfilment for sales order management is a new feature that will be available in the Inventory module. This will give warehouse managers and workers the tools they need to ship orders quickly and in an organised manner. Additionally, is the incorporation of pick and pack lists, increasing efficiency and decreasing costings for pickers and packers. As sales orders move through these processes, Sage Intacct will reserve and allocate quantities to ensure they are not used elsewhere.
The new project estimate tab in the Projects Costing and Billing module enables you to capture a more detailed view into estimate costs. This will give greater visibility into profitability of projects with estimate costs and actual costs reporting.
Release 4 now supports DKIM authentication for email delivery - the industry-leading standard in email security. The ensures that emails are delivered to the intended recipient quickly, reliably and securely - while also allowing for visibility on their status from the enhanced email insights.
Bank Transaction Assist will give the ability to create assignment rules and enhance the reconciliation process. These assignment rules will automatically create a received payment for your AR invoices, directly from your bank feed transactions, assisting in the creation of customer receipt payments.
Please note that some of these new features will require changes in configurations and permissions or additional modules, so be sure to speak to your Account Manager about enabling them.
